Research & Development Teams

C.En has its own International Scientific Advisory Board, composed of leading Scientists from all over the world. It maintains research facilities and personnel in both Russia and Germany:

In Russia, these include two scientific teams. The first lead by Prof. N.K. Zhevago, Dr. E. Denisov and Dr. V. I. Glebov at the Kurchatov Institute, and the second lead by Prof. V. N. Verbetsky at the Moscow State University

In Germany, the development and testing of C.En prototypes are conducted by the "Safety Related Properties of Gases" Working Group, -Division II.1 "Gases, Gas Plants", of the prestigious BAM Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing.
Dr. Kai Holtappels, Head of the Working Group (Kai.Holtappels@BAM.de) and Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Martin Beckmann-Kluge, Chief Engineer of the Working Group (Martin.Beckmann-Kluge@BAM.de) are respectively responsible for the project. Further scientific, technical and R&D matters are carried out by various BAM subdivisions, in parallel to developments made by the Work Group

The production and characterization of the capillary arrays takes place at Hilgenberg GmbH facilities, under the auspices of both BAM and C.En. Prof. Dan Eliezer, D.SC, FASM is the Chief Scientist of this project.
